General Policies

Order Processing:We do not ship overseas unless payment is in cash prior to shipping. In stock merchandise will usually ship within two to four days from date of order. Custom and special order merchandise will usually ship within 10 days or at a mutually agreed upon date from initial order. We will notify shoppers when the item is in stock or needs to be ordered through phone call or email.

Shipping Charges: Shipping Charges are determined based on method of shipment (U.S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, Federal Express etc.). Charges are also determined by both weight and dollar value of the order. Customer will be informed by either phone or email what the charges will be. We do ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. International shipments are accpeted on a case-by-case basis.

Gift Wrapping: We will provide gift boxes and wrapping for all jewelry and watches for free.

We presently cannot accept orders for shipment outside of: United States.

We collect state sales tax when shipping to the following states:

Order Cancellation Policies

All order cancellations must be done by telephone or email as soon as possible, otherwise the restocking fee will be applied.

Return Policies

If the customer is unsatisfied with their purchase for any reason it may be returned for a full refund, if it is unused and returned in its original packaging (not including gift-wrapping). Items that have been sized or returned without original packaging are subject to a restocking fee up to but not exceeding 10 percent of original purchase. Defective merchandise may be exchanged for the same product. All exchanges or returns must be requested within seven days of receiving your order by either telephone or email. All sales are final for custom and special orders.

About Us

Rose Reiter Jewelry has been located at the same address for over 49 years. Starting in 1958 at 66 West 47th Street, New York City may seem like ancient history to some, for Rose Reiter it even goes back further. She worked with her father on Canal Street decades earlier. A lot of knowledge can be accumulated in that time.

That knowledge has helped satisfy many customers. Her ability to understand what someone desires in a jewelry piece and what can be created has helped many customers. This is why so many people return to Rose again and again, for over four generations. At over 80 years old (she stopped counting then) she still is visible and involved in the business. Moving into this new millennium, she's excited about the potentials that are there and is not afraid to explore them.

As the world enters the 21st century and rapidly expands to encompass a new universe of business (a.k.a. eCommerce), it is refreshing, as well as interesting, to find someone who has retained old-fashioned values and the integrity of giving each customer the highest level of personal service --- a trait that over half a century in the jewelry business has taught her.

Rose Reiter has taught her legacy of skills and knowledge to her son Andrew Reiter, who is a designer for her firm. Andrew is expected to carry on the traditions that have made Rose so respected among her clients and just as importantly as her peers .
