FEDEX EXPRESS/NEXT DAY: Shipping per Container is $20.95 (Container Max. weight is 50 lbs of product) FEDEX EXPRESS/2 DAY: Shipping per Container is $15.95 (Container Max. weight is 50 lbs of product) GROUND SHIPPING for (WI, IA, IL, IN, MN, MI, OH, MO, KS, WV, E. 1/2 OF NE, ND, & SD,) is $15.95. SATURDAY DELIVERY SURCHARGE $12.00 (per container) We normally ship Monday through Wednesday within 1 - 4 days of your order via SpeeDee (Ground only) & FED EX for Ground, 2-Day & Overnight services. We will ship on Thursday in emergencies when notified on orders place by 9 am. Thurs with all liability of any damages due to shipping delays which would hold product over the weekend to be yours.

REMINDER: Fresh and frozen product combination orders can't be guaranteed of arrival condition; ie, frozen may start to soften on outer edges and fresh may have frozen spots. Both can be frozen or refrigerated upon arrival. FRESH is recommended to be shipped NEXT DAY.

All our meat is frozen, unless requested to be unfrozen and shipped in insulated coolers with dry ice or freezer gel paks as needed. Free cooking instructions are included with each order. Feel free to call and discuss shipping questions and concerns.

About Us

Our ranch encompasses several hundred acres where the bison graze naturally on the open pastures covered with natural grasses, never receiving hormones or steroids. Our bison are grassfed because we believe grassfed and grass finished is better for the bison, for our health as consumers and better for the environment. You are always welcome to stop by our ranch-store at 1936 28th Ave., Rice Lake,Wisconsin.(6 miles N of Rice Lake on Hwy 53, right on Cty 'V' 1/2 mile.) 888-295-6332. Northstar Bison meat products are made with 100% bison, no pork, beef or fat is added. This grass-fed product is naturally lower in fat, calories, and cholesterol than beef, chicken, pork, ostrich and most wild game. It is higher in protein AND, most importantly, it tastes great! We own our own processing plant where our animals are harvested in a 'field kill' fashion. This method secures the lowest stress environment for the animals thus preserving a very tender, slightly sweeter tasting meat. We have two ranches north of Rice Lake and have meat store on the ranch for your convenience to pick up the product directly from us.
