Shipping Charges

For shipments to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii an additional $0.00 freight surcharge per order will be added to the above charges.

We presently cannot accept orders for shipment outside of: United States.

  At Raymond Jewelers, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalog is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, color may vary slightly. Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible so that you can see the beauty and shape of a particular item. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, Raymond Jewelers states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.04 carats from the stated weight.

  On the Raymond Jewelers web site, we display the dimensions of our products based on the information received from our manufacturers. Also, for each item containing multiple diamonds, we list the average grade and measurement for color, clarity, and carat weight. These averages are calculated by adding all grades or measurements that comprise the inventory with regard to that particular piece of merchandise, and determining the closest mean.

  Because our product selection is large, there is a possibility that product availability and pricing might change before we have an opportunity to update our Web site. Our prices are also subject to change without notice.

  Infrequently, prices may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.   LOST PACKAGE POLICY

  On the rare occasion, that a package is lost in transit, either by United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS or Federal Express we reserve the right to wait up to 30 days from the inquiry or trace date to determine if the package is actually lost. RaymondJewelers.com will not hold the purchaser's funds any longer than possible. However we need to follow proper postal and shipper procedures to determine if the package was signed by another person, stolen or lost. We will refund the entire purchase price unless proof of delivery can be obtained (i.e. the package was delivered and signed for). Money for lost packages, will not be refunded unless the above procedure is followed, and it is understood that Raymond Jewelers has fulfilled their obligation once the package has been shipped from our offices.

  Warranties

  

  All of our jewelry items are guaranteed for one full year against manufacturers defects. It does not cover damage from everyday wear and tear or abuse. While fine jewelry can last forever, it is important to discuss about the care and cleaning of your jewelry to ensure its brilliance and beauty. We recommend that you have your fine jewelry cleaned and checked once a year. We will be happy to do this for you at no charge if you are in or around the Connecticut area. If you are a distance from us, a local independent professional jeweler will be happy to assist you.

  The Belair brand wrist watches come with a full factory three (3) year warranty. Warranty details are enclosed in each watch box.

  CT means carat. TW means Total Diamond Weight. TGW means total gem weight. All diamond and gem weights are approximate. The following are the size ranges appropriate to each carat weight listing of our jewelry: 1/10 carat .09 - .12 carat, 1/6 carat .14 -.17 carat, 1/5 carat .18 - .22 carat, 1/4 carat .23 - .27 carat, 1/3 carat .30-.34 carat, 1/2 carat .48 - .52 carat, 3/4 carat .73 - .77 carat, 1.00 carat .98 - 1.02 carat. All photographic, clerical, typographical errors are subject to correction. Most colored gemstones are treated to improve color and clarity by heating and/or other industry accepted procedures.

  Return Policies

  We offer a money back return or exchange policy within 30 days of your purchase, 7 days for our loose certified diamonds less shipping costs for orders placed and shipped within the USA. Items must be in original condition including all packaging and not altered or changed by a third party or the purchaser in any way. Engraved jewelry, sized items, custom made jewelry, customized jewelry, earrings converted to non-pierced styles, Mother's rings, customized Mother and Child or Family jewelry, Mother's pendants, Daughter's Rings, Mother's Baskets, Nantucket Lightship Baskets are not returnable. Stock size of a ring is between a finger size 6-7 for ladies and a 10-11 for gents. We will be happy to let you know the exact stock size of any ring if this is a concern to you. Please email Denise for this information. We ask that you email or call us in advance for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA) that you would write on the mailing label enabling your return to be processed in the fastest possible time. Packages without a return authorization (RA) number will be refused by our receiving department and will be returned to you.

  Our owner is on hand to personally inspect each item we ship to our customers and also when an item is returned. In most cases, after our expert inspection, your refund will be processed within two business days after our inspection of the item/s.

  No returns or exchanges will be accepted without the return authorization number, and unfortunately shipping fees are not refundable. Please fully insure your package so that if it is lost in transit to us you can file a claim. Raymond Jewelers is not responsible for the packages in transit that you are sending back to us.

  RAYMOND JEWELERS HISTORY AND FACTS

  .......After service in World War II, Raymond graduated from North Idaho Junior College in 1948 where he earned a certificate in Horology, the study of time. Raymond Jewelers opened its doors March 1, 1953 on Broad Street in Hartford. Within a very short time, a larger space was needed and Raymond Jewelers moved to Park Street where it remained until 1973. The business moved to the Elmwood section of West Hartford and remained there for 29 years. On October 1, 2002 the store moved a mile down the road to Corbins Corner to better serve their customers.

  .......Raymond and Gerry became a well known and respected husband and wife team within the jewelry profession. Their daughter, Denise, grew up in the jewelry business and loved it. In 1987 she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in jewelry and metal from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and maintains a studio at the store for the design and creation of jewelry. Denise furthered her studies of Gemology through the Gemological Institute of America and has earned many certificates. She is a Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society, a Certified Sales Management Professional with the Jewelers of America and a Past President of the Connecticut Jewelers Association, a state affiliate of the Jewelers of America. Denise purchased the business in 1992 and continues in her parents footsteps.
