Used to hold selvege edges and assist in lessening the amount of draw-in. Particularly helpful on weavings with a high warp tension - such as rug weaving.

These are made from steel - narrower than wooden ones and the sharp teeth have a slightly greater downward slant making the the prefered choice for rug weaving and heavy fabrics.

Inserted Eye Wire Heddles

Need more heddles or replacing all of the heddles on your loom? These inserted eye heddles are are good choice for the weaver; light weight, gentle on the warp threads (even some yarns with little slubs), easy to slide from side to side.

Inserted Eye Wire Heddles are plated to resist rust. The lengths currently available are, 8 1/2", 9 1/2", 10 1/2", and 12 1/2". The eye is 1/4" x 1/8". These are an excellent value.

This 4.5 yard warping board will meet the needs of those working with smallers looms such as rigid heddle and table looms.

Schacht Single-Ended Bobbin Winder

Schacht manual bobbin winders are belt driven, have self-lubricating bronze bearings, and are available in single-ended and double-ended models. The single-ended winder has a tapered shaft that will accommodate a variety of bobbins up to 6" long. The double-ended winders can be used for bobbins, pirns, and a variety of flanged spools up to 9" long. A clamp incorporated into the design means you'll never have to hunt around for a "C" clamp again.

This is the larger of the two sizes of warping boards that Schacht Spindle Company makes. It measures one yard (36") across and will yeild warps up to fourteen yards long.

For use with rags or bulky yarn such as mohair or rug yarn. Ski shuttles are often used interchangeably with rag shuttles. The runners of their ski shuttles are steam-bent to a gentle, smooth curve. These shuttles are sanded, finished, and buffed to such a smoothness that they will literally ski across the warp threads.
