Humpty Dumpty Sweater to Knit from Dovetail Designs

The second in a series of nursery rhyme sweaters to knit, with easy-to-follow chart for the design on the front and back of each sweater.

Stocking stitch used throughout with edges in rib.

Five children's sizes. Double knitting or worsted weight wool or cotton yarn. Size 8 (5mm) knitting needles

Fun and furry mittens knit in wool and novelty yarn, then felted in the washing machine. Shown in Fizz & Tussock, both from SR Kertzer.

It only takes an evening or two to knit this very easy child's sweater. Garter stitch is used throughout with collar, cuffs and edging in rib. Make it striped or plain. Add a hat or optional mittens.
