Schacht 14 Yard Warping Board

This is the larger of the two sizes of warping boards that Schacht Spindle Company makes. It measures one yard (36") across and will yeild warps up to fourteen yards long.

Warping boards are often subjected to great tension and strain. Schacht builds their's are built to withstand the greatest demands. They make their own hardwood dowels, tenon them and then press them securely into a maple frame which has lap joints on the corners of the frame to assure stability under pressure. These are made from hard maple, smoothly sanded and given a Danish oil finish.
