Made out of water-resistant Kodra, the Sahara 217F, while being compact and ergonomic, features specially designed spaces to fit all your digital equipment, without looking like a camera bag for security reasons, including a dedicated heavily-padded innovative lateral compartment that fits most 17” wide screen laptops.
This versatile backpack was designed to double as both a notebook backpack and a multi-functional camera bag: the Sahara 217F’s expandable main compartment can accommodate a removable thickly-padded camera insert that can fit a consumer DSLR camera, such as the Nikon D80, with up to an 11 1/2" long lens attached, as well as 6-8 additional lenses and a flash.
The 217F features an ergonomically designed back support system with quick adjustable padded shoulder straps as well as chest and waist straps to minimize back strain. "D" rings on shoulder straps allow attaching extra accessories for quick-access while on the go.
This amazingly lightweight pack can hold its share of gear with ease via its abundance of storage space: zippered front compartment with additional quick-release buckle featuring pen/pencil loops, slip pocket and key ring clip; two snap-closure front pockets; slip-pocket inside main compartment for MP3 player with headphone slot.
The Sahara 217F has also 2 hidden features: tripod carrying system that stores away in its own compartment and can be attached to the pack to securely hold a tripod, or monopod, as well as a water-bottle pocket that stores away.
