The Alpha-L, similarly to all our models in the Military Ops Series, is a camera bag that doesn’t look like a camera bag for security reasons. Made out of water-resistant 1680D Ballistic Nylon, the Alpha-L incorporates a unique design with military-like features for quick-access and equipment safety.
Inspired from our Alpha backpack, the Alpha-L is a laptop/photo backpack that features a top compartment for personal gear, a bottom compartment with a padded, customizable camera insert, as well as a dedicated padded compartment to fit most 17" widescreen laptops.
Velcro holds the floor of the top compartment in place so it may be removed, along with the camera insert, to use it as a daypack without carrying photographic equipment. The Alpha-L also has a side tripod carrying system. The shoulder straps, and the waist belt, are well padded. There are 12 pockets to carry extra accessories as well as a rain cover.
The removable camera compartment fits up to a pro DSLR camera, such as the Nikon D3 or Canon EOS 1D, with up to 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached plus 3-4 additional lenses, flash and portable media device.
