The K4L was designed to function as a laptop backpack, camera bag, and travel backpack for the ultimate in professional convertibility, without looking like a photo/laptop backpack for security reasons. Its features a dedicated heavily-padded lateral compartment that fits most 17” wide screen laptops. The laptop compartment’s zippers are water-repellent for more safety against the elements.
The K4L features a plethora of room for your equipment: Front zippered lower compartment with three accessory pockets and zippered mesh pocket, two zippered side pockets and one upper Velcro closure pocket. The upper day gear compartment features a zippered mesh pocket and a slip-pocket for an MP3 player with headphone slot.
The K4L’s main compartment is composed of a top section suitable for day gear and a bottom section housing a padded insert for a camera system, the divider between the top and bottom areas being removable to offer one large compartment for general use. The well-padded lower camera compartment houses a pro DSLR body with up to 4 1/2" lens attached, plus 3-4 additional lenses and a flash.
The K4L has also two hidden features: a removable rain cover (packed into mesh holder with an Easy-Lock belt loop that can be used as a water bottle holder) to protect the entire pack and its valuable contents from harsh weather and a tripod carrying system which folds down from the center of the backpack to securely hold a tripod, or monopod. The K4L features side and front pockets for extra accessories as well as a water-bottle pocket that stores away.
Its advanced harness system is designed to allow ultimate adjustment of its components: ergonomically designed back support system, padded ergonomic shoulder straps, adjustable waist-belt and height adjustable chest straps, ensuring that its user can wear it comfortably all day long.
