This fine-meshed strainer is the perfect tool to use for creating smooth, velvety soups, sauces, and gravies. And so easy to use. Place the sieve over a pot or bowl so that the pot rest extensions hold the sieve in place. Pour cooked fruits and vegetables inside the basket, and begin turning the large knob. As the straining mechanism and wooden roller press contents through the fine stainless steel mesh, the scraper removes seeds and particles left on the sides. Also great for pureeing baby food.

The puree sieve is 8" in diameter and made of dishwasher safe 18/10 stainless steel. Instructions and recipes are included.
