Pirns. . . for End Feed Shuttles

There are three different sizes of pirns that we carry. . . an 8" black pirn that fits the larger AVL, the 15" Schacht End-Feed Shuttles, and the 15" Bluster Bay End Feed Shuttles. A 6" red pirn that fits the 12" Schacht End-Feed (aka 'End Delivery') Shuttle, and a black 5½" Pirns. . . for End Feed Shuttles that fit the short AVL and the the 13" Bluster Bay End-Feed Shuttles. We understand from shuttle manufacturers that the plastic pirns are no longer being made and as we run out, we will be substituting wooden pirns. **Pirns do not fit correctly on many single ended bobbin winders as the hole sizes in the pirns are inconsistent . Therefore, we suggest using double ended bobbin/pirn winders.
