Le Creuset Moroccan Tagine

The Tagine dish is a savory stew native to North African countries, particularly Morocco, which uses any combination of fish, meat, poultry, vegetables and even fruit.

This specialty casserole made by Le Creuset consists of a shallow 12" black-enameled cast iron (flame and oven-proof) dish with a vividly colored 9" tall earthenware conical lid that sits snugly inside the base, thus securing that the steam generated in cooking will not be lost.
