The N.Y. Black Yankees was Partly owned by the legendary tap dancer and performer Bill "Mr. Bojangles" Robinson, the N.Y. Black Yankees made their home in one of the most interesting parks in baseball. The rickety 1000 seat stadium was built on the grounds of the Catholic Protectory, a home for delinquent boys. Although every top black team visited the stadium, the games received little publicity from the New York Press.
